Islington name-checks at Latitude Festival

I attended Latitude this weekend and it really felt like most of Islington had upped-sticks and put them down again in Suffolk for three days. So many of the acts name-checked Islington it was really quite funny.

Firstly there was David Schneider, who pointed out that being from Islington a trip to Latitude was more or less compulsory, then there was the absurdly hip Carl Barat of ex-Libertines fame name-checking the Holloway Road (and Harringay!) in his new single. Then there were all my Islington chums who'd made it along. I'm guessing this means some of you guys were probably there?
