Metropolitan Police Helicopter gets own Twitter feed

If you're one of our many readers who've been bemoaning the activity of the nocturnal Islington helicopter, you may be interested to learn that the Metropolitan Police have just launched a new Twitter feed, charting the actitvities of their fleet of choppers.
-
At last...will Islington residents find out the truth about the nocturnal chopper flights?
The new account, which can be found at @MPSInTheSky appears to be the genuine voice of the Police helicopters, and in a similar vein to the popular Twitter feed by London's ambulance service, it tweets about incidents being attended by the London sky fleet.
So far, the account has promised a great deal of information on what is going on above us, with messages such as "We hope to use this channel to give Londoner's an insight into the work
of the three aircraft that are owned and operated by the MPS" and "Stay tuned to learn more about the daily activities of the MPS helicopters"...
Will the new account shed any light on the regular night flights over Islington? I for one am intrigued to find out more about these patrols and hope that this development may pave the way to more transparency over these flights which are - at the moment - proving somewhat mysterious.
