Sunday 22 July 12-2pm
Start Point: Old Fire Station, 84 Mayton Street, N7 6QT
Join the North Exhibitions Walk led by Jamie Bamber, visiting some of the fantastic artwork on display in the north of the borough.
The walk will begin at group exhibition ‘Painters’ at the Old Fire Station, before heading to artist Jason Sumray’s (http://tinyurl.com/czhdg4h) studio on Horsell Road, where there will be a chance for discussion with the artist on his work and practice. We’ll be visiting Nigel Goldie’s ‘Re-turned’ exhibition at Waitrose on Holloway Road as well as Islington Arts Factory, where there we’ll be looking at around 80 works of arts exhibited in the Summer Salon. The walk will finish at Katia Lom’s ‘Paintings After the Morning Walk’ exhibition at Whittington Park Community Centre, where refreshments will be available to purchase from the cafe.
Jamie Bamber lives in Finsbury Park and works as Associate Artist at Rowan Art
