We are looking for a poster design for London Metropolitan Archives, which will be used to promote their film collection - and the winner will receive a £250 commission for the design. London Metropolitan Archives holds an extraordinary range of collections and records about London – for more information visit http://tinyurl.com/7trd2ul

You will be given access to the collection and be able to use images in your design.

The winner will be announced at an event on Tuesday 30 October, 6-7.30pm at London Metropolitan Archives.

You can find out more about the film collection at the LMA Film Club, a free monthly drop-in event – upcoming dates are Wednesdays 26 September and 24 October, 6-7.30pm.

THE BRIEF:

The design resolution must be 300dpi at A3 size
Imagery from the archives is available on Flickr (these will need to be replaced by high-resolutions images in the winning entry)
Designs must include the LMA and City of London logos (the LMA logo must be legible and the City of London logo must adhere to the guidelines you can download below)
Entries must be supplied in JPEG format
Entries should be submitted to competitions@therowanartsproject.com by midnight on Monday 15 October.
