Been on your holidays yet?

Without meaning to sound too much like a hairdresser (and there are some perfectly good ones I could recommend on Upper Street), I'm curious to know where those of you who intend to break the bounds of Islington in coming weeks are planning to spend your holidays. Where are you going to be soaking up (or indeed avoiding) the sun?

The Eden Project in Cornwall: great place for a staycation, whatever the weather
It feels to me like most people I know have had exciting trips abroad booked, planned and paid for weeks if not months in advance, while I rely on last minute inspiration to hit, some time before the leaves turn brown. In fact, many are already back, looking just as tanned as the autumn foliage I'm talking about!
But that's just the lucky ones, really, as many others are in my situation or won't be taking a holiday at all. The trend for 'staycationing' is also apparently on the rise, thanks in part to the recession, but also as a result of the warmer weather we've been enjoying. One vague idea I've been mulling over is a trip to the Eden Project in Cornwall, which thanks to its tropical dome, is a great UK break idea whatever the whether decides to do.
So if you are thinking of staying within the UK or even just taking time off work to potter at home, what activities do you have lined up for your time off?
