I am getting married early next year and I had heard that Giovanni Snr was an expert in bridal hair, so I went down for a trial and the result was absolutely perfect, exactly what I wanted for the day so I have made my appointment and another 4 to treat my bridesmade. I absolutely can't wait now, such a weight off my shoulders to find the perfect hairdresser.

Giovanni’s is a family run hairdressers and beauty salon situated in the heart of Islington.
Established in 1920, this friendly business has spanned across three generations of the Napolitano family.
The experienced team all specialise in bridal, evening and day styling and colouring, offering expert Japanese straightening methods as well as many other aspects of hairdressing.
Our beauty salon specialises in Guinot facials, waxing, massages, manicures, pedicures, eyebrow shape and tints.
Situated in the basement of the salon it is the ideal place for a relaxing experience at the hands of our friendly beautician.

moved to the area not long ago and was looking for somewhere that did guinot facials,which i love. found giovannis and was really pleased,the therapist is lovely and the salon is really nice,although quite confusing as you walk in as they have a seperate shop that sells designer clothes.

Colour
I've had some bad experiences with dying my hair in the past but was desperate for a new colour, so I decided to give Giovanni's a try as a couple of my friends get their hair done there.
I was looking for something totally natural and Giovanni's completely understood what I wanted. We had a long consultation about it and I was well looked after. They really took their time on it and it really showed in the results. I have never had colour so rich and natural before. I can't believe how much it suits me, I couldn't be happier.
Giovanni's is a little gem, that also boasts a beauty salon and a clothes shop downstairs. A brilliant experience, I only wish I had found it sooner. -
They know what they're talking about
Really friendly staff and a good, clean salon. The guys here have been going a while now and really do know what they're doing when it comes to hair. Mine's quite wild, but they always manage to make it look 'done' and not like I've just rolled out of bed. Well worth the money and I recommend them to anyone after a top local stylist.

Brazilian Blow Dry
I have been going to Giovanni's to have my highlights for years now and I wouldn't trust anyone else to achieve the same results that I am constantly thrilled with. I noticed a new technique for blow drying that they had started called the brazilian blow dry and asked to try it out. It completely changed my hair for the better, I was so surprised the difference it made. I'm so happy that my little traditional hairdressers is employing new techniques all the time with contemporary treatments. I can't imagine going anywhere else now and couldn't recommend it any more!
