contemporary dance festival for both emerging and
established national and international contemporary dance companies.
The festival moves around different locations in London to bring the best of contemporary dance to different areas, and its tenth event, "Trouble and Desire" recently showed at The Pleasance on North Road.
"Trouble and Desire" presented a total of 18 companies over three days, performing a range of solo, duet and ensembles pieces all under 20 minutes in length. Headliners included the internationally acclaimed choreographer Mavin Khoo with a new duet, Ffin Dance, and returning favourites Slanjayvah Danza with their 2008 piece "Blind Passion".
