Superb place to celebrate St. Patricks as me and a few friends did a few years back. Local crowd was extremely friendly and joined in the celebrations. Beer garden was perfect and the inside is just as nice with the large wood fire. Guiness went down very well here.
We all had a terrific night.
Many thanks to everyone for coming along -
Adam for playing the piano,
Vince and Lilly for giving us some beautiful Irish songs.
To everyone who wore the silly hats, drank the gallons of Guinness and especially those who had three bowls of the Irish stew - I guess it was very tasty!!
See you all again soon I hope
Thanks for the review and did as you suggested and re-wrote the description. Hope you like it!!
Jan (the hot chocolate lady)
ps this is probably not the right place to reply but don't know how else to thank you. Unless you pop in and I'll get that rum and chocolate for you lol
Looks a bit run down from the outside but it was so toasty and warm with a real fire and (very important to me!) clean modern toilets!
Was also nice to be able to have a cigarette in a delightful beer garden instead of standing on the street!!
Locals seem a friendly bunch too.
Would definitely go back when I'm next in the area. Lovely lady behind the bar promised me hot chocolate with rum and mini marshmallows next time!!
