New Rose
Well worth a visit
I recently discovered the New Rose and will definitely be back: it's the ideal spot for catching up with friends and while it's quite busy in the evenings, it isn't as uncomfortably rammed as some of the better-known pubs and bars on Upper Street. the pub has been done up in an interesting and quirky style and I love the punky-looking sign!

Friendly local
The New Rose is a lovely local with lots of friendly regulars. The staff and management are great and the beer is well kept. I really like this place for a low key pint with a friend. It's a little further down from the station so it doesn't get quite as rammed with drunk business people, but it is still popular, and there's a nice buzz at peak times.
