Had a blast both times I've been to this pub, great atmosphere and the bar staff are just fantastic! Love the downstairs area too, very relaxed and open and with a great hooka selection. It's got a wee dancefloor for anyone who wants to groove and a pool table with tables close enough to be a really sociable area.Cold beers, clean toilets and good times!

The White House is an independent pub with a large, heated Turkish garden offering shisha, home cooked food and a wide selection of drinks.

had such an amazing time at this pub, its whole layout is just perfect for groups of freinds or a drink by yourself at the bar. i really like having the pool table slightly to the side so don't feel like intruding in games but plenty of space to sit and chat or just watch if you fancy! the staff are all splendid, very helpful and freindly. i didin't want to leave! and the house white is not bad, and a great price for the bottle! of course the garden to rear has the rabbit (so i'm willing to accept no dogs!) and great seating area, but when i've just come from the park there's plenty of seating out front for me and my pup. beautful views over the park, snow or shine, definately worth the short walk from main strip,
first time being to the White House after hearing so much about it, and also the first time dancing around a stripper pole. drink. stripper pole. a few laughs and a good time is guaranteed here! oh, and it's just a really nice space too.
Would just like add that I watched the Arsenal here last night, and it was full with a even mix of Arsenal and Man U fans. Quality atmosphere and complimentary crisps. Most of which were directed at the arsenal fans come full time..... Easily please but I'm adding another star.
The white house is a wonderful venue. I simply don’t know where to start with this place. Whilst not a 'shady back street pub' with run down exterior and staff. It's not a discrete building, but it's not in a high street location. Its a real gem of a place. A fun and a little haven for me at times, if I want to escape an angry London. Inside it's a comfortable vibe, with staff that make even a solo drink enjoyable, and you feel as welcome as can be. It really is my favourite pub in Stokey at the moment!
For the last month or so I’ve had food and drink there, games of pool, watched the football and smoked a touch of Shisha. Without fail, each and every time I’ve enjoyed being there. With the right music playing and your good friends around you, I simply can’t think of a venue nicer for a party or more relaxing catch up session.
I tend not to dance there myself but whilst I busy myself on the pool on a Friday night, there’s a great Latin disco going on. Where the dancing comes to life. Overall I can’t fault it, even if it is a little far for me to walk when I’m tired! A winner every time!
Defiantly a complete five start rating from me!
I recently moved to the stokey area and I was so happy to find this pub! The White House has a lovely atmosphere. It even had a sort of nostalgia factor for me, reminding me of my favourite pub back in the west country where I grew up - not sure why... maybe the youngish crowd, low lighting in the main pub area, pool table, and friendly staff. It also has this large covered outdoorish area with heaters, rabbits, and morrocan style decor (I think they even have shishas). It works, creating a proper social environment. The rabbits are quite a draw too... who wouldn't want to intersperse their drinking with a stroking a cutesy rabbit? It's not surprising this place is developing a rep and attracting people even from further afield. 5 star venue and individual with it - a truly special place.

Very atmospheric but friendly, nevertheless. The covered garden is amazing, with heating and comfy sofas – and rabbits, no less! Nice staff and I'm told the grub is good, though I've not eaten here myself yet. Mein host seems willing to host parties which is worth bearing in mind....

Every time I go here to watch an Arsenal match we win! A great variety of shisha flavours. Nice outdoor area, with rabbit. And the rabbit just had a son so he's even happier. There's a pole, which is a bit random. The pool tables a bit wonky. They were very accommodating and changed the food to suit me not eating meat. The bar staff always have a smile and sometimes an Arsenal top on too (which is hot!) It's a great place to jam on a Sunday afternoon, especially as the outdoor part is properly heated and covered.
This place is different to any normal pub. Nice and friendly, with good staff. They did nice food when I went there last, though it changes regularly so I’m not sure if they’re still serving. Very chilled beer garden. Off the beaten track, which can be a pain but the good side is that it has a good core of locals and a nice friendly atmosphere without the pub crawlers you get in busier areas.

ReportThis is a genuinely nice place to relax somewhere away from the uber-trendy church street pubs. Lots of things to love about this venue: Pool table, screens, shisha, bunny rabbits. The owner is great, really friendly and so are the customers; the food is delicious - especially the kofta, and there's a massive range of drinks from all sides of the world owing to the diverse crowd it pulls in. Went to a Latin night there last week which was great - dancing and drinking all night, lots of smiles all round. This place has come a long way over the last few years.
